Soprano Carolyn Black-Sotir and guitarist Ronald Pearl celebrate the Spanish folk song  and its influence on classical and religious music.

The program includes sacred and secular songs of the Spanish Renaissance, Heitor Villa-Lobos’s Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5, Siete Canciones populares Españolas by Manuel DeFalla, Brazilian Folk Tunes arranged by famed guitarist Laurindo Almeida, and songs for guitar and voice by South American composer Antonio Carlos Jobim.  OLÉ!
